Knowing how much I eat, many people often wonder why I’m not the size of a house. The reason for this is that, in order to be able to eat as much as I do, I insist on maintaining a pretty rigorous exercise regime, getting up every morning before 6am to get at least an hour’s intense workout in before facing the day (and all the delicious meals that come with it!).

One company that I swear by is ApeFit, a fun, outdoor fitness group that I have been going to since it launched in 2013. In each 60-minute class, you’ll get a super intense workout full of cardio and strength training that is guaranteed to get you in shape. I generally go two mornings a week, and insist on pushing myself as hard as I can to ensure that my muscles ache until the following week.

As a special treat to any keen Dim Sum Diaries readers, ApeFit founder Linds Russell is putting on a special ApeFit session on Saturday 21st March to give you a taster of what these workouts are all about.

And since no workout is worthwhile without thinking about the meal that will follow (trust me, thoughts of breakfast are often what push me to do that extra burpee), after the workout, Linds will take you to one of her favourite healthy restaurants, The Awakening, (read my review here) where you will enjoy a delicious paleo breakfast and also get to watch a paleo cooking demo by Chef Mike Boyle.
Here are the details:
Date: Saturday 21st March 2015
Time: ApeFit class starts at 9am; breakfast will be at 10.30am
Location: Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park (meet by the statue in the top photograph at 8.45)

Spaces are limited to 20 people. If you’re interested in attending, please send an email to hello@apefithk.com. You will then receive payment details, as you will need to pre-pay to secure your slot.
Looking forward to seeing many of you there!
